Newsletter 1/11/08 – WOW! YachtShare Booms despite Recession

With all the doom and gloom going on in the economy and the onset of elections next week, it sure hasn’t impacted the team here at YachtShare. We’re heading for a spectacular summer again with an increased level of business being done on both Launches and Yachts.
We’re seeing an increasing number of people who were looking at purchasing boats that are now unsure of their future revenues from business and of course the plummet of the NZ dollar against the primary boat exporters from Europe has added tens of thousands to the cost of new boats.

Ocean Breeze
Due to the increased business in Auckland and the general lack of support from the North for our boat based in Opua Bay of Islands, we have bought Ocean Breeze back from the bay and will now have her permanently based at Westhaven. 34ft with 3 Cabins, we’ve owned Ocean Breeze from new and she has always been a popular boat due to her ease of sailing and 3 cabin layout. Full Internal Refit – Pacific Pearl
Many of you have had the pleasure of spending time on Pacific Pearl over the years and late this winter we decided to go the whole hog and complete an interior refit ensuring the comfort to our clients and presentation for some time to come. It’s taken a few weeks, but we’re pleased to say the outcome is superb.
